Quick Installer Guide: UP200 VoLTE M2
Follow these steps for a seamless installation of your 4G/VoLTE intercom unit. Ensure the power is disconnected before beginning the wiring process.
1. Power Supply & Wiring
- Input Voltage: Connect a stable 12VDC power source. For reliable operation under load, a minimum of 15VA is required.
- Wiring: Connect your electric lock strike or gate controller to the dedicated VOUT (voltage) or relay outputs.
2. Network & SIM Configuration
- SIM Insertion: Ensure the SIM card PIN code request is disabled before insertion.
- Signal Check: After powering on, check the network signal LED. A value of at least 12 (on a 0-31 scale) is required for stable operation.
- Troubleshooting: If the red ERROR LED is lit continuously, verify the voltage output for potential short circuits or check the SIM card status.
3. Audio Calibration
- If an echo is detected during testing, decrease the microphone sensitivity in the Configurator software to balance the speaker volume.
4. Advanced Setup
- Voicemail Prevention: To ensure calls are not picked up by mobile voicemails, adjust the Ring time (recommended: 10-120 sec) in the software.
- Smart Failover: Configure both UPTEL1 and UPTEL2 numbers with the “Automatic” option enabled to ensure seamless call rollover if the primary line is busy.
Pro Tip: All parameters can be read, modified, and written quickly via the Securecom Configurator software using a standard USB connection.
