The 2G replacement demand
In Germany, Telekom and O2 plan to switch off 2G in 2028 and Vodafone by the end of 2030. Every 2G-only gate intercom and alarm dialler on those networks becomes a replacement job. More than 8,000 UP200 GSM intercoms are installed; they can be replaced with the UP200 VoLTE M2 or upgraded with the UP200 VoLTE upgrade PCB. Read our 2G shutdown guide.
