UP200-VoLTE M2 User and Installation Manual
1Introduction
The UP200-VoLTE M2 is an intercom unit that works like a cell phone: when a visitor presses the call button, it calls the owner's mobile or landline number and establishes a voice connection within seconds — just like a conventional intercom. The owner can answer and talk to the visitor from anywhere, not only at home.

4Configuring Functions
All settings are made in the Configurator PC software (see section 6). This section explains what each setting does.
Buttons
Each pushbutton calls the phone number(s) entered for it. If both a primary and secondary number are set, the unit calls the primary number first. On an unsuccessful call (unavailable / not accepted), pressing the button again within 60 seconds dials the secondary number.
General Settings
| Setting | Range / Options | Description |
|---|---|---|
| SMS forward | phone number | Forwards SMS received on the unit's SIM (e.g. prepaid balance info). Recommended for prepaid SIM cards. |
| Ring time | 10–120 sec | Maximum ringing time from button press — avoids switching to voicemail. |
| Call time | 10–600 sec | Maximum duration of a call initiated from the intercom. |
| OUT active time | 1–120 sec, monostable | Voltage output activation time. |
| RELAY active time | 1–120 sec, monostable | Relay contact output activation time. |
| Volume | Low / Normal / High (default: Normal) | Applies from the next call onward. |
| Backlight brightness | 0–10 (default: 5) | Name plate backlight intensity. |
5Gate Control & Security
The RELAY (normally open) output can be controlled in three ways:
🔓 By free call
On incoming call, the unit identifies the caller ID, rejects the call, and activates the output — e.g. garage door or barrier. Up to 100 phone numbers can be configured.
🔘 By pushbutton
The relay activates when the call button is pressed — e.g. connecting an existing doorbell.
☎️ By phone keys
During a call, pressing 2# on the phone's keypad activates the relay for the configured time.
Gate Control Settings
The two outputs (OUT — voltage output, e.g. for a direct electric lock; RELAY — contact output, e.g. for a garage door) can each be enabled independently. Calls from the configured phone numbers control the output(s) assigned to that number. The incoming call is not answered — this function works with free calls only. Up to 100 user phone numbers can be added.
6Configuration — Using the Configurator
- Download the Configurator software: securecomconfiguratorsetup.exe
- Install and run the program on your PC.
- Connect the device to the computer via the USB port.
- Click Connect, then configure the device's network connection to start setup.
What Each Panel Shows
| Panel | Shows |
|---|---|
| Status information | Switching state of peripherals and current mobile network status. |
| Intercom information | Module type and firmware version. |
| GSM network | Provider name and GSM signal value (0–31). Minimum recommended signal: 12. |
| Outputs | Current state of the relay and voltage output controls. |
| State messages | Internal operation log — useful for diagnosing configuration issues or malfunctions. |
7Operation & LED Indications
Visitor Mode
Pressing the call button initiates a call to the configured number. Once answered, the call runs for the configured duration and cannot be interrupted — not by an incoming call, nor by pressing the button again. The call ends automatically when time expires, when the called party hangs up, or if the call is unanswered/unavailable. A new call requires pressing the button again.
Listen-in Mode
The intercom can be called back only from the numbers assigned to its pushbuttons — other numbers are rejected. The unit answers without ringing and opens the voice connection. End the call from either side.
SMS Forwarding
Incoming SMS messages on the unit's SIM (e.g. prepaid balance alerts) are forwarded to the configured number, then deleted from the SIM. Without a configured number, incoming messages are simply deleted.
Status LED Indications
| LED | Colour | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| NET OK | Green | Lit once connected to the mobile network with sufficient signal (≥10 on 0–31 scale). |
| ERROR | Red | Lit continuously if the device cannot connect. Check: faulty/disconnected antenna, missing SIM, PIN request not disabled, or faulty SIM. |
| CALL | Green | Communication in progress. |
| OUT | Red | Voltage output activated. |
| RELAY | Red | Relay output activated. |
8Remote Configuration via SMS
The unit can be configured by sending SMS commands to its phone number. Multiple commands can be combined in one message (max 140 characters). Every message must start with PWD=1234# (or the current password) and each command must end with #, otherwise changes are not applied.
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
PWD=1234# | Programming password (default: 1234). |
PWC=new password# | Change password (4-digit number). |
RESET# | Reset all settings and password to default. |
UPTEL1=phone# | Primary number for upper pushbutton. |
UPTEL2=phone# | Secondary number for upper pushbutton. |
LOWTEL1=phone# | Primary number for lower pushbutton. |
LOWTEL2=phone# | Secondary number for lower pushbutton. |
RINGTIME=duration# | Ringing time, 10–120 sec. |
CALLTIME=duration# | Max call duration, 10–600 sec. |
RTIME=duration*NO# or NC | Relay activation duration + idle mode (NO=off, NC=on), 1–120 sec. |
OUTTIME=duration*NO# or NC | Voltage output duration + idle mode, 1–120 sec. |
RTEL=phone*REL*OUT# | Set phone number for relay/voltage output activation. Suffix required: *REL, *OUT, or *REL*OUT. Up to 100 users. |
RTELDEL=phone# | Delete a number from the RTEL list. |
STATUS?# | Query current settings (excluding RTEL list). |
INFOSMS=phone# | Forward GSM provider balance info to the given number. |
Example Scenario
Goal: 2 numbers on the upper pushbutton with auto-fallback, OUT-controlled electric lock (10 sec) by phone and input contact, both numbers can trigger the gate relay by free call (5 sec), ring time 25 sec, call time 120 sec, prepaid balance forwarded to the primary number.
